UPSC also known as Union Public Service Commission is responsible for providing various recruitments across the country. NDA 2019 or we can say National Defence Academy 2019 is one of those and therefore a popular entrance examination in the defence sector which recruit Eligible candidates in the field of Army, Navy and Air force. Every year the union public service commission organize the examination two times for the interested candidates i.e NDA I & NDA II. NDA 2019 Exam Dates

The following dates are expected and will be updates as soon as the official notification gets released by the UPSC. Therefore, till then go through the details attentively and make your schedule according to it.

NDA  2019 Application Form

Before filling any recruitment form, we should know the points that we have to keep in mind while apply for the respective examination. Here our team is trying to give you some of the points that will help you in filling up the form.

  • The board will provide the NDA 2019 Application form via online mode (on their official website)
  • As you can see on the dates section that the availability of NDA I form is in the third week of January and for NDA II it is on First week of June.
  • Candidates have to fill two parts in order to successfully apply for the form.
  • Part 1 will be consisting of your General Details and therefore in part 2, the candidates will have to select the exam, upload their images and submitting of Application fee.
  • Photograph (3KB-40KB) of the candidates must be in JPG Format along with the signature (1KB-40KB).
  • Carefully fill your NDA Application From because no corrections are allowed after submitting the form.
  • Everything will be followed through Online mode so don’t send your hard copy through post.

Application Fee:

Various options are available for the candidates to submit their application fee such as Debit/Credit card, SBI Net Banking, Through Challan of SBI bank.

  1. Application fee regarding the NDA Examination is Rs 100/-.
  2. For the candidates who belong to SC/ST, sons of JCOs, NCOs & Ors there is no application fee.

NDA 2019 Eligibility Criteria

Before filling the application form, we recommend you to confirm your eligibility as per the NDA requirements.


  • Indian Citizen along with a subject of Bhutan or Nepal is eligible for the form.
  • Tibetan refugee who have arrived the land of India before 1st January 1962 and wants to settle permanently in India are also eligible.
  • Indian origin persons who have migrated from Sri Lanka, Burma, Pakistan, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia or Vietnam and wants to permanently live in the India.

Age Limit:

  • If you are applying for the NDA I then you must have born between 2nd July to 1st July 2004.
  • On the other hand, for NDA II you should be born between 2nd January 2001 to 1st July 2004.
  • Unmarried male candidates are only eligible.
  • Also, they have to remain unmarried until their training get finished.

Qualification Criteria:

  • Those who are tending to apply for the army wing of National Defence Academy must have qualified 12th examination from a recognized board.
  • Therefore, for the Air Force, Naval of NDA, and 12th cadet Entry scheme at NA the aspirants will have to pass 12th class (including subjects like physics and mathematics).

NDA 2019 Admit Card

Candidates who have applied for the examination successfully can download their admit card before two weeks of the examination. Check out the details given below.

  • Admit card will be provided through official website of the UPSC.
  • NDA I admit card will be provided in the month of March and therefore NDA 2 in month of August.
  • There will be particular details given by the board to the candidates through which they can download their NDA Admit card.
  • After downloading the admit card if you find any error, directly contact the board at least before 1 week of the paper.
